MADE TO BE FOLLOWED .
Follow the rules and everything will be fine. If you don't follow the rules, you'll get one strike which is just a warning. You repeat an offense or break another rule, you get a second strike which is a three day warning. Break it thrice, you'll be banned forever so please follow the rules, they're not that tough!

GENERAL RULES .[/blockquote]
01. Respect everybody. It's the most important rule, and the easiest! R-E-S-P-E-C-T everybody and not just the admins (but primarily the admins, hah!) Be chill, nice, and get along. Don't start drama, save it for your mama.
02. Don't fight with admins. We're admins for a reason. We built this site. If you're unhappy with something, you're allowed to leave. Don't pick fights with others. If you have a problem, don't fight in the c-box. Settle it like civilized beings, take it outside the site and work it out peacefully.
03. When you join, try to get your app done. We don't like having ghost accounts with no posts on them. Bookmark the site, make sure you have the link for when you have free time, you can log on and begin your application.
04. Posts are to be in font size 1 or 0 unless you're doing some fancy title, etc. etc.
05. Icons should be 100x100 and the graphics in your sig should be nice and not too big meaning we don't want something that stretches the screen. Also, try not to put up some ugly graphics that look like a blind person did them.
06. Racism, sexism, prejudism, etc. exists in this world and so, we allow it on the board because characters can be _____. But out of character, we do not allow any of these things. The strike rule doesn't apply to this rule, we ban automatically if we have a problem.
07. Your display name should be your character's first name and last name in lowercase.
08. Don't post anywhere other than the application board and the reservation thread before you are accepted. Once your accepted, you can go post anywhere you want.
09. One account per person. Period. Twins have seperate accounts also.
10. Don't spam.
APPLYING .[/blockquote]
01. Don't change anything about the application form. It's coded that way for a reason.
02. to be accepted you but have your app approved by two admins before you can go to claims and start roleplaying.
03. You must have a face that portrays your character. You are allowed to either a model or a celebrity. No MySpace people! Two people can't use the same celebrity, unless the characters are twins, of course. In that case it has to be taken up with the person who had the PB first.
04. No Mary-Sues, Gary-Stus or whatever you like to call them. Basically, no perfect characters. Nobody's perfect. This is a realistic roleplay - we want flawed characters. We don't want all very slutty girls, nor do we want a million virgins, be versatile.
05. Follow the current application word count. If any staff member thinks it's to short, they will let you know, and you have to change it.
06. in the application there is a part that says favorite rule put lipstick and lullaby's so that we know you have read the rules thoroughly.
07. There is no true character limit, but we don't suggest having over 7 or 8. After a while, they get too hard to handle. You have to keep each and every one of your characters active, and it can sometimes get too hard to handle. Also, don't have all three girl character's, add a guy in there. No oddly unreasonable ratios.
08. When it comes to naming your character, make sure that nobody else has the same name. I know that in all schools, not everybody has their own individual name, but nobody wants to see a bazillion and one Jake's, Ryan's, Britney's, and well...you get the point. Also, ones that are too close together probably aren't the best either. For example, if someone has a character named Isabelle, then don't name yours Isabella. You might use that name all the time, but it gets confusing at times. Same goes for last names unless your character is related to another one on the site.
ROLE-PLAYING.[/blockquote]
01. The current word limit is 600+words. This rule is subject to change, and will definitely be enforced. It's okay if your a little bit under, but please don't post 300 words. If your rping with someone who's giving you 1,000 words don't give them 500. This is a advanced literate RPG, if you don't think you can handle that maybe this site is not the site for you.
02. Use proper grammar and spelling, please. The spell check is there for a reason. It bugs me when people don't use correct punctuation, or don't put spaces in between their sentences.
03. The forum is 'rated' PG-13 to R, and is realistic. This means characters will be dealing with things that normal people deal with in real life. Drama. Sex. Drugs. Parties. If you can't handle that, don't participate in any of it.
04. God modding. Simply put: don’t do it. For those of you who don’t know, god modding is taking control of the other person’s character and writing for both sides. Role playing is about writing with someone else, what fun is it if you cut them out of the picture and do all of the writing yourself?
05. No, unfortunately, your character may not be abducted and probed by a UFO. No mythical creatures, at least not unless your character is experiencing and acid trip.
06. If they get pregnant, wait at least four months before the baby is born, we won’t make you wait the whole nine months, but it can’t just be a week or two either.
07. You are allowed to write out sex scenes, but please, let’s keep it classy! If we believe something is too graphic, or we get even one complaint from someone that it’s making them uncomfortable, we will ask you to tone it down.
08.You are free to swear. Swearing is normal and no words are disallowed. However, keep it within reason. No one drops the f-bomb every other word unless there are very, very extenuating circumstances.
